I moved here in January 1993 to escape the bitter winters of the northeast and
enjoy the sunshine and laid back lifestyle of California. I live in the San
Fernando Valley (no, I'm not a Valley Girl) where it's warm in the winter
and very hot in the summer. In case you don't already know, the "real" four seasons
of California are earthquakes, fires, floods, and riots.
If you're afraid of earthquakes, you might as well forget about living in
California! An earthquake feels like an amusement park ride gone awry!
I have been a Data Processing professional since 1981 and have done
everything from applications to systems programming. I am currently a Senior
Unix Systems Administrator for a large computer company. I am a big fan
of Macintosh computers, as you will see a little later on.
My favorite band is Heart. I have been a big fan of their music since 1976.
Their newest release entitled "Jupiter's Darling" is fantastic! Heartmongers used to meet in
Seattle every August and it was so much fun! I also like The Lovemongers. The Lovemongers are
Frank Cox, Sue Ennis, Ben Smith, Ann and Nancy Wilson. Click here to visit the official
